Deer Trio

Have you ever seen something and just had to have it?
Well I saw this little family of deer and just had to have the die to make cards of my own!

I saw this lovely winter scene tag on Pinterest and was forced to find the die used.
It's called Deer Trio made by Memory Box. There is a tutorial on the Ellen Hutson site showing how Kitty made the tag.

To you from me gift box and card

Today I made a fun little square card with a matching box. I found this fabulous metallic teal ribbon that was the inspiration for the color scheme. I bought paper and stamp a long time ago from Stampin' Up! I used one of the dies that came with my Genius magnetic platform to cut the shape on the card. The box is the perfect size to fill with treats or even a cupcake.

Give Thanks

Now that it's officially Autumn I wanted to make a card that reflects some of the beautiful colors of the season. I found this lovely checkerboard satin ribbon that gave me the inspiration I needed. I used the wood grain embossing folder on Close To Cocoa cardstock from Stampin' Up! I stamped Give Thanks on the Old Olive card base (also from SU!). Tied the ribbon around the card and added the bow. I tucked a leaf and some berries behind the bow as the finishing touch.

I'm sharing my card with Really Reasonable Ribbon, Allsorts, Eclectic Ellapu, and Rogue Redhead Designs.

Learning to Dance in the Rain

I made my first ATC ever today.
I found it to be quite a challenge because they are so tiny. They are only 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
The feet came from Linda and Weasel which can be purchased from Stampotique.
The umbrella was fussy cut from the T!m Holtz set called Life's Possibilities.
The background is part of a digital ATC collage sheet from The House Across the Bay called
I used a black fine tip sharpie to hand write the sentiment, Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain.

I made this for the Stampotique Desingers Challenge to make an ATC.
I hope you get a "kick out of it" too! lol
