Elegant Easter Egg

I tried to challenge myself by using a
color I do not care for - Purple.
I kept this Easter card pretty simple, and actually love it. I think it's the green ribbon that makes it work for me. Eventually I will figure out how to take a picture of my cards where you can see all the detail clearly. It's a work in progress.

Chipboard Tissue House

I had so much fun creating this chip board house from Maya Road. This was the first time I tried paper quilling. I just love the little window boxes I made to go with the house. In person you can see I used liquid glass for the windows. The butterflies came from Close to my Heart "Butterfly Kiss"

Here is the back of my tissue house. I used a dragonfly from Close to My Heart "Butterfly Kiss". You can see some detail of the white flowers I used with a paper quilling technique.

Par-fect Day for Golf

For my Par-fect Day golf card I dry embossed white card stock, then used a circle punch to create the golf ball. I glued a golf tee to the card and placed the ball on the tee using dimensional foam for some lift. Since my handwriting is dreadful, I used my favorite font "Lucida Handwriting" in a word document, then used the "Curly Label Punch" from Stampin' Up! The sky is Bashful Blue and the grass is Garden Green.

Fall Sunset

I just love all things nature, so of course I just had to have "Branch Out" from Stampin' Up! The background was made by sponging various colors from my favorite color family "Earth Elements." I layered my tree scene on Really Rust and Chocolate Chip card stock.

Happy Holidays Snow Globe

Here you can see I used acetate to make my snow globe.

I made this Christmas Snow Globe using the Santa from Close To My Heart "Happy Christmas" and the Happy Holidays from the"Holiday Joy" set.

Nature's Greatest Masterpieces

The background of this card was created using masking tape. The tree came from Penny Black. The verse is from Papertry Inc, a set called "Father Knows Best".

Over The Rainbow Challenge

Ok, I'm pretty excited. This is my first post, and my first challenge!

These are a couple of cards I made using the home from Papertrey Ink's stamp set
Boards & Beams . I also used the tree from Penny Black.
