Howdy, Hello

Never Ending Card

My son Parker just loves pirates and skeletons. I made him this never ending pirate card so he can hunt for treasure with his secret pirate map. It just keeps opening over and over. Nothing like Pirate Fun!

Happy Father's Day!

Parker and I built this picture frame in a Lowe's Build & Grow workshop. We have so much fun going to the workshops.

More Recycling

I liked the recycled beer can card so much I had to make some more.
I think this time you can see the puff paint a bit better.

Above is the outside of the card and below the inside. I used a vintage lion from Tim Holtz. I think it helps to highlight the lions on the front of the beer can.

Cheers To You!

Whelp here's one way you can recycle ;) I cut up an aluminum can and flattened it into a sheet. After that I used an embossing folder to give some texture and sanded slightly to age it. The beer mug has been clear embossed for a glass effect. I used puff paint to create the beer foam. So now Cheers To You!

Make It Mondays Challenge

Oh, I'm excited, I think I'm getting better at photographing my projects! You can actually get a glimpse of the shine on the embossed damask design. This Valentine's Day card was made for the Papertrey Inc emboss resist challenge. I used one of my favorite sets Damask Designs to create my card. I love the weight of their cardstock - fabulous! Pure Poppy, Sweet Blush with a hint of Stamper's Select White was used. Perhaps I should have straightened my bow on the button properly ;)

Birthday Wishes Wallet

I saw the idea for this card on Nichole Heady's blog a long time ago.

I'm not so awesome using a sewing machine, but I'm tickled at how this card turned out. This was the card I made for my son to give to his Daddy for his 35th birthday this year.
Inside I put a couple of coin stickers for fun. I also made a gift certificate for a day of golf.

Golfer's Birthday

Whoo Hoo, I got a scor pal for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. I've had fun playing with it since then. Here's part of a Birthday gift I made for my golfing Hubby for his Birthday. Here's the outside of the card and the 3x3 box. The idea for the box came from Karen Giron here... http://splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1338043?&si=golfbox

Here's the inside of my hubby's birthday card

Happy Valentine's Day

I love this digital heart set from Verve. I saw the heart and immediately thought of a tattoo and barbed wire. Here's both the out side and inside of the card I made using the images. I wish you could see the texture on the "tan leather" card stock from Gina K Designs. LOVE IT.

Ferrell Family Crest

Ah,
a
work
in progress. I can't seem to decide on how to design the border to finish my Ferrell Family Crest. The hardest part of my stained glass project was cutting and foiling the greyhound. Ugh, I broke the first one and had to cut another. Not fun, but I am very pleased with how sleek he turned out. I'd love any suggestions for the border!
