About a week ago I received an email stating I had won the
Let me tell you I could not have been more excited!
It contained the Hipster Journaling Binder, Collection Pack, Element Stickers, Alphabet Stickers, Title Stickers, Vintage Stamps, Mini File Folders, Vellum Tape Stickers, Wood Veneer Die Cuts, Metal Tabs, Flocked Rub-on, Mixed Brads, Garland, Snippets, and Printed Chipboard Shapes.
Are you ready to see some of the projects I've been making with it all!?!
The very first thing I decided to make was a Christmas card.
Yes, a Christmas card with the BasicGrey Hipster Collection! I know it seems odd considering it's full of fun things like mustaches, eye glasses. Plus fun words like rad, gnarly, awesome.
I liked this striped paper so much I ended up with a couple variations of the same card.
I loved it so much that I decided to upcycle some of the packaging to make another Christmas card. The packaging reminded me of vintage ornaments. I used red ink to stamp Merry Christmas on the inside of the card.
I used the sheet, Life is a Beautiful Ride from the Snippets packet to make this card. I fussy cut the bicycle and popped it up with foam tape.
You're Awesome! Isn't that a great masculine thank you card. I love the way it turned out.
Since it's back to school time, I decided to alter a composition notebook for my son Parker.
Several years ago when Parker started kindergarten I personalized one for him.
My husband Chad is always gone for work before I wake Parker up to go to school or daycare.
This gives Chad a place to write notes and doodles for Parker. This really helped encourage Parker to read, plus makes him feel really special!
I suppose one day when Parker is all grown up with children of his own I'll give the books back to him. And make some for his children. They are so simple and such a wonderful treasure!
You'll have to go to the BasicGrey website to check out all the other fabulous stuff that coordinates with the Hipster collection. I am loving it! I feel so luck to have won this amazing prize pack! I can craft for days with it all!
I am sharing these with Crazy For Challenges, Our Creative Corner, Send A Smile 4 Kids, The Hobby House, My Creative Moments, Inspire Me Fridays, The Twinery and Kitty Bee Designs.
