I was inspired by this bright and cheery Hot Pink <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Chevron_Middy_Bitty_Bags_/192/c83">Chevron Middy Bitty Bag.</a> I loved combining the hot pink, turquoise, and lime green on the card and treat bag. Such hot summer colors!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used a punch to cut out the center of the <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Scrolly_Square_Labels/169/c76">Aqua Scrolly Square Label</a> so you could see the chocolate chips cookies in the bag. A strip of acetate (clear cardstock) keeps the goodies inside the bag. <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Blue_Solid_Divine_Twine_/235/c16">Blue Solid Divine Twine</a> ties the bag shut and adds a little more of that pop of color. <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Deep_Pink_Solid_Divine_Twine_/231/c16">Deep Pink Solid Divine Twine</a> is used on the coordinating card.</div>

<div align="center">
I made this fun little card and coordinating bag for my dear hubby.</div>
<div align="center">
Today not only will the 15th be Father's Day, but it's also our 19 year wedding anniversary!</div>
<div align="center">
I really have no idea where the time has gone. It's been a blink of the eye!<br />
<br />
For the card I tied <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Air_Mail_Divine_Twine_/121/p2c57">Air Mail Divine Twine,</a> <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Navy_Solid_Divine_Twine_/246/c16">Navy Solid Divine Twine</a>, and <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Red_Solid_Divine_Twine_/236/c16">Red Solid Divine Twine</a> on the <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Small_Colored_Tags/180/c92">Small Tag</a> that's stamped Happy Father's Day. A white chalk marker worked beautifully to create the stripes on the kraft card base. I used <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Blueberry_Divine_Twine_/125/c16">Blueberry Divine Twine</a> on the <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/White_Horizontal_Striped_Middy_Bitty_Bags_/208/c81">White Horizontal Striped Middy Bitty Bag</a> to create the tie closure. I find it easy to use a couple tiny brads and circle cardstock pieces along with a bit of twine to create the tie closure. It's a simple way to create interest with the bitty bags. Plus it gives you a way to reuse the bag for another card or treats.<br />
<br />
If you haven't already done so, I certainly encourage you to check out all the fantastic things at <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/">Whisker Graphics.</a> <br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0wWb22NFhU-p9ExvUKa9huJ17vlEu-ngnbXIRu5lSsBQZGdIi5wFn4JT3yJl6bMEvGNMwb39d9G-S3AFOaBGC4HsIkjyfeEm43bs67EqUWW-dnV_nY32L9G8c2W_i89OCGh9KQf1pGGI/s1600/IMG_0997.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0wWb22NFhU-p9ExvUKa9huJ17vlEu-ngnbXIRu5lSsBQZGdIi5wFn4JT3yJl6bMEvGNMwb39d9G-S3AFOaBGC4HsIkjyfeEm43bs67EqUWW-dnV_nY32L9G8c2W_i89OCGh9KQf1pGGI/s1600/IMG_0997.jpg" height="392" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
When you first walk into my craft room you immediately see in front of you a large window flanked by bookshelves and a daybed. I sewed the cover and made the matching pillows for the daybed. The book shelves hold books of course lol! Plus a ton of past issues of Close To My Heart and Stampin' Up! catalogs, magazines, photo albums, dies, embossing folders, etc.</div>
<div align="center">
When I bought the chair, I was originally wanting to spray paint it black and add some type of Halloween inspired fabric. Something that would scream Edgar Allen Poe.</div>
<div align="center">
I found the vintage metal filing cabinets for a steal at $35. The filing cabinets hold things like my <a href="http://tapeswell.com/">Tapeswell </a>collection, paint brushes and paint, glitter glue and adhesive, reinkers for all my ink pads, polymer clay, alterable items like chipboard pennant banners and sketch books, etc. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I totally lucked out on finding this antique Royal Typewriter for $60.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVHhC1FGASYz9ih_9ayYodX7kuL47i8Nxzw3tYf7q7CnekMr1mGPUZ2WqxN2bNLCPQv8OOZLLfxTR3_PMKSi-0vAmbH4mHgGEL_IivkmUb6SYAuTQV3mtKOPpTCxGigi0ZBy6kOV8kmPE/s1600/IMG_1006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVHhC1FGASYz9ih_9ayYodX7kuL47i8Nxzw3tYf7q7CnekMr1mGPUZ2WqxN2bNLCPQv8OOZLLfxTR3_PMKSi-0vAmbH4mHgGEL_IivkmUb6SYAuTQV3mtKOPpTCxGigi0ZBy6kOV8kmPE/s1600/IMG_1006.jpg" height="604" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When you look to the left you can barely see the beautiful desk Chad Built me. I've been thinking about posting pictures of my office for a long time. I kept thinking I'd clean it all up to make it look orderly and perfect. Heck, I'm always working on some sort of a project. Then I get inspired to make something else, and leave a huge mess on my desk. It certainly helps having a desk that's 6 feet long. Even if it's covered up all the time lol!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The very top shelf holds all my chipboard houses that hold boxes of Kleenex.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The baskets below them hold fabrics, large spools of ribbon and twine.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The white binders hold the majority of my stamps and thin metal dies. A few of my favorites I left as the original wood mounts and display to the right. The left hand side has some pre-made card kits.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The bottom shelf is a true hodgepodge of stuff! I have all sorts of markers, embellishments, adhesives, scissors, and other crafty <strike>nonsense </strike>things.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sitting directly on my desk to the left is a plastic box full of embellishments, then a bunch of my inks pads, a couple of tools, A wood & metal box full of mini ink pads, then a tray I try to contain my work in progress. I'm not very successful at that.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEil0QQ90ZddPVpteLH3SvLvtZnbLHH2Ff2nOWPHwk_TYv7a-M38yk4_PQ0w8zyAMZ0ZYizmnK60NEGP8FlHSucBAKNZ6Q4s2dGYTCMq7pLt2F8zNH6hU7IppX5Gbf-emjPl9PfTagK94mw/s1600/IMG_1003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEil0QQ90ZddPVpteLH3SvLvtZnbLHH2Ff2nOWPHwk_TYv7a-M38yk4_PQ0w8zyAMZ0ZYizmnK60NEGP8FlHSucBAKNZ6Q4s2dGYTCMq7pLt2F8zNH6hU7IppX5Gbf-emjPl9PfTagK94mw/s1600/IMG_1003.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I bought a couple of <a href="http://armyscraper.ctmh.com/retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=4160&ci=771">Marker Towers</a> from my Close To My Heart Rep. I bought all the Stampin' Up! markers and several from Close To My Heart. Then I discovered Copics and intend to buy many, many more! I just had to have all the colors of Sharpies too.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Chad built this tower for me to hold all my stamp pads. I bought all my favorite colors of classic ink pads from Close To My Heart and Stampin' Up! SU! discontinued the craft ink and I've found I like it better. It may take a little longer to dry, but it's easily used in heat embossed images, and coats a stamp better to give a clearer crisp impression every time.</div>

I think in colors. Shoot, I wake up in the morning and think what color do I feel like today.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Several years ago I decided to pull apart all my wood mounted stamps. I used <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.com/EZMount-Cling-Foam_c_68.html">EZMount Cling Foam</a> and <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.com/Stamp-Storage-Panels--8-12-x-11--Pkg-of-5_p_166.html">Stamp Storage Panels from</a> Crafters Companion. I organized the stamps in my binder system by theme. All my Christmas stamps are together, Halloween, stars, hearts, nature, etc. I know several people are probably thinking OMG! You pulled apart the sets, Yup I sure did. When I want a star for a project, I can simply flip to that page and pick the perfect star. It makes it easier to find the perfect sentiment too! I can quickly pick the perfect "thank you".</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I store my thin metal dies in the white binders too using <a href="http://www.crafterscompanion.com/EZMagnetic-Storage-System_c_181.html">EZMagnetic Storage panels.</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The wall to the left of my desk has all sorts of ribbon stored in an old cassette tape holder. I saw the idea on Pinterest and had to have one. It took a long time to find one, and cost a pretty penny! Chad built me the punch organizer for me too. I'm loving the flat designed punches. So much easier to store and see. I have a couple of wine theme serving trays I hung on the wall to hold little bottles of things like glitter, flocking, brads, eyelets, etc.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To the right of my desk is a shelf Chad built for me. Yes, the man is pretty handy and talented! The top holds my Epic 6, sewing machine, and a basket full of patterned papers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Below that is my Silhouette and Cricut machine. I like both, but I love having punches to the left of my desk. I can simply reach for them. No Machine to plug in and try to get the size right the first time on whatever shape I'm needing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The next shelf holds my Teresa Collins Stamp Maker, Cuttlebug, Label Maker, and printer. I hate buying ink, so the printer rarely gets pulled out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The bottom shelf has a couple of accordion files that hold paper scraps organized by color of course lol! A few plastic boxes holding more patterned papers, and a Gingerbread chipboard house in progress. The "suitcase" boxes hold all sorts of beads, jewelry findings, and tools to make jewelry.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I can't decide on how to arrange art on the wall. Eventually I'll get something hung.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

My Haunted House is still a work in progress. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's done for the most part. I'd like to find the perfect "wallpaper" for the inside and get some furniture for my house. I gotta tell you that I won't ever build a dollhouse from scratch again. OMG it took a week straight before I could even begin to paint!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Well there you have it!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I still want to take some pottery classes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And I have no desire to knit or crochet. Chad will be glad to know he won't need to build me something to hold yarn lol! </div>

<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Recently Chad decided to add a new water feature to the back yard. We really missed hearing the trickling of water from the fountain at our last house. Although I loved the way he made it with the three tiers, it was a bit formal for the craftsman feel of our new home. The fountain was my very first Mother's Day present.</div>
<br />
<div align="center">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9LXfOW7YDh-E7dW7YMdU5d4xyxRPkVovL6BHnXgBmjpy7TGXhckywut0pe4jdXbVwVyQQ9ccP950b4-jNdohoPphrbhcdMByd-iIU2rS4PZhw2wvTTZkEVotAthWK5RmawvgSyhk3c74/s1600/pond1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9LXfOW7YDh-E7dW7YMdU5d4xyxRPkVovL6BHnXgBmjpy7TGXhckywut0pe4jdXbVwVyQQ9ccP950b4-jNdohoPphrbhcdMByd-iIU2rS4PZhw2wvTTZkEVotAthWK5RmawvgSyhk3c74/s1600/pond1.jpg" height="426" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
So it was only fitting he built me a new water feature for Mother's Day.<br />
Parker was such a good helper. He helped place rocks for the size and shape. And he helped dig up all the dirt.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZH0OBA3-JivjMWhwq_OU-PV4Xb6LM5vdt0g7Anf45OfZ7Wyq-qLI0ZCgISvXul5AWzCiW78YQHpBrTC451GfQMNeZTdvM593ZwGi21YMWqmo_MmsHGY_TVOSQgNSWyWW0ZFJ4udTTv0Q/s1600/pond.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZH0OBA3-JivjMWhwq_OU-PV4Xb6LM5vdt0g7Anf45OfZ7Wyq-qLI0ZCgISvXul5AWzCiW78YQHpBrTC451GfQMNeZTdvM593ZwGi21YMWqmo_MmsHGY_TVOSQgNSWyWW0ZFJ4udTTv0Q/s1600/pond.jpg" height="372" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I need to decide on some plants to add around the pond. It's come along quite nicely. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now if we could only get rid of the Bermuda grass! <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj99wU1VtJIzH7_yIUtWKuKTU9Xx5loXYKOQyGAo63AoR9jtOj2ipEcEyP4RmAH2DABAHfJm4qN3Wa8Eh8LuIy5KNuq9bjqJTrYjim0XYK2NhOdlMtWbVK_Rg6emgaf0R_XuAg-urc2_lc/s1600/pond2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj99wU1VtJIzH7_yIUtWKuKTU9Xx5loXYKOQyGAo63AoR9jtOj2ipEcEyP4RmAH2DABAHfJm4qN3Wa8Eh8LuIy5KNuq9bjqJTrYjim0XYK2NhOdlMtWbVK_Rg6emgaf0R_XuAg-urc2_lc/s1600/pond2.JPG" height="640" width="476" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Chad added some lights throughout all the landscaping. It adds such a warm ambiance at night.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made this fun little card and matching envelope for Chad's birthday. The tie closure envelope was made with a sheet of cardstock, twine, and buttons. I think it turned out pretty cool and makes a neat presentation for a hand delivered card. Next time I will wait to seal the bottom of the envelope before stitching the buttons into place. I love the way it turned out and know he'll love it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The sentiment came from a stamp set called <a href="https://www.papertreyink.com/stamps/on-the-links-stamp-set/">On The Links</a> by Papertrey Ink. The plaid paper came from Pink Paislee, Old School I believe was the collection name. I found the vintage golfer stamp on Ebay from <a href="http://www.ebay.com/usr/flonzcraft">Flonzcraft</a>. They are based in New Zealand so it takes a little while to get stamps from them in the mail. I've bought several other golfer images as well as custom made stamps from them. And have been very pleased with all my purchases. </div>

Goodness Valentine's Day will be here before we know it!</div>
<div align="center">
I thought I'd start to come up with some treat bags for Parker's classmates. I found these fun red and white chevron treat bags and wanted to add a little something to them. I decided I wanted to pair them with a pop of turquoise. I love the color combo. That cute little tag Happy Heart Day is part of a set called <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133294">Tags 4 You by Stampin' Up!</a> After I finished the treat bag I decided to use another one to make a coordinating card. On both the card and treat bag I used some red and turquoise twine. I also used a couple of dies from Papertrey Ink, <a href="https://www.papertreyink.com/pti-dies/papertrey-ink-mat-stack-4-die/">Mat Stack 4</a> and <a href="https://www.papertreyink.com/pti-dies/papertrey-ink-layerz-mat-stack-4-die/">Layerz Mat Stack 4</a> . I found the lovely cherub image from a set called <a href="http://msesentiments.com/product/cs-tt219/">Romance Sentiments</a> by MSE! The with love sentiment also came from them a long time ago. Now to make 22 more bags for the kids. :) </div>

Chad and I have a friend that is retiring from the Army so I wanted to make him a card. Since I will be hand delivering his card, I decided to make a tie enclosure envelope to match. I think it makes it feel even more special, important if you will. I'm sure he will appreciate it. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I just can't seen to get enough wood grain paper, stamps, and embossing folders. I love it all! I found this herringbone paper at Hobby Lobby. I used a couple of tree stamps, the one in the middle came from <a href="http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/product.sc?productId=302&categoryId=193">Gina K Designs</a> and the other from Stampin' Up! The sentiment came from a set called <a href="https://www.papertreyink.com/stamps/on-the-links-stamp-set/">On The Links</a> by Papertrey Ink.</div>

I was flipping through all my stamps looking for some inspiration to make a card when I came across this one. I'll be giving this to Chad for our anniversary in June. It will be our 19 year anniversary. Crazy! It's hard to believe we've been together for so long. I don't feel like I'm old enough to even say that!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Yesterday I found this turned wood lamp at Goodwill for only $3.99.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGDeZI_pRpKVxpSWrOfe4xznVuPxR1ciibevNaeVgkRSyFckJV8QpWWicePH3o5Sl5geTKZPeBIqR07p6qMdMByA_ei80LTeNKipOIy0k3EoHm7VzxyCxz7t1sAJX0Gbv5jdghC4qwsSQ/s1600/IMG_0924.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGDeZI_pRpKVxpSWrOfe4xznVuPxR1ciibevNaeVgkRSyFckJV8QpWWicePH3o5Sl5geTKZPeBIqR07p6qMdMByA_ei80LTeNKipOIy0k3EoHm7VzxyCxz7t1sAJX0Gbv5jdghC4qwsSQ/s640/IMG_0924.jpg" width="460" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I thought about painting it, but the wood was in such beautiful condition. I decided to simply remove the old lamp component and top it with a pillar candle. I can only imagine how much the lamp had originally cost. It stands at 22" tall. If I found this at somewhere like Pier One or Pottery Barn it would have easily cost $100. I think it's a pretty amazing Goodwill Store find! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now if I can be so luck again! lol</div>

I asked Chad to get me something to organize my kitchen. I couldn't stand having to lift up, and pull out all my pans to get to the one on the bottom. It seems like I always want to pull out my big 12" pan that is on the very bottom. What a hassle having them stacked on top of each other.</div>

The new system pulls out smoothly and everything is easy to access. I am thrilled this project is completed. It only took about an hour from start to finish. Including pulling everything out of the cabinet, cutting out the existing shelf, assembling the new storage system, and putting everything in it's new home. It was under $150 and worth every penny!</div>

I found these cute little gingerbread tins at <a href="http://www.hobbylobby.com/home.cfm">Hobby Lobby</a> for $1.99 each regular price. Oh my goodness, do they ever have a ton of cute gingerbread themed items this year! I had so much fun shopping. The tins are the perfect size to fill with treats for Christmas gift giving. I made Buckeyes for Chad to take to some of his co-workers. To make the gift tags I used some red and green glitter wrapping paper. The stamp sentiment came from <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/home/">Stampin Up!</a> The <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Holiday_Divine_Twine_/224/c16">Holiday Twine</a> twine came from <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/">Divine Twine</a>. <strong>Buckeyes Recipe</strong></div>
<div align="center">
<strong></strong> </div>
<div align="center">
2 1/2 cups peanut butter</div>
<div align="center">
1 1/4 cups melted butter</div>
<div align="center">
1 teaspoon vanilla</div>
<div align="center">
2 pound (32 ounce) package powdered sugar</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
2 packages chocolate candy melts</div>
<div align="center">
2 teaspoons shortening</div>
<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
In a large bowl mix peanut butter, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. Next add powdered sugar and work dough until completely blended. Line a metal tray with wax paper. Make sure it will lay flat in your freezer. You'll thank me later :) I like to use a melon baller to form the balls for the buckeyes. This helps keep the balls a consistent size, I can make about 12 dozen buckeyes with this recipe. After all the balls are formed place them in the freezer and take a break. That was a ton of work! </div>
<div align="center">

<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
As soon as the balls are frozen, and you are ready to resume the process, it will be time to dip in chocolate. Line another metal cookie sheet with wax paper. Clear a shelf in your refrigerator for the metal tray. I like to start with one bag of candy melts at a time. Place a small bowl on a potholder, add bag of candy melts and a teaspoon of shortening. Microwave for 1 minute on 50% power. Stir, then continue to microwave at 50% power for 30 second intervals until smooth. Placing the pot holder under the bowl will make it easier to take in and out of the microwave with out burning your hands. You'll thank me for this tip later too :) Stick a toothpick into a peanut butter ball and dip it in the chocolate, place on cookie sheet. Continue the process until all the balls are dipped. Since the balls were frozen when dipped in the melted chocolate, the chocolate will harden pretty quickly. Place them in the refrigerator until ready to package, or just begin to enjoy!</div>

One last tip today, If you use a plastic spoon to stir the chocolate you will be able to use it later to make chocolate dipped spoons. It's a great way to use up any left over chocolate. Plus that means less to clean up. </div>

Fill a coffee mug with candies or homemade cocoa and mini marshmallows and you have a sweet little gift for friends or neighbors. Yummy!<strong></strong></div>

The glitter looks so pretty on the ornaments. I love the way it sparkles when the light hits them. I bought the fun <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/item/Holiday_Divine_Twine_/224/c16">Holiday Twine</a> from <a href="http://whiskergraphics.com/">Divine Twine</a> that's used on my gingy ornaments.</div>

<strong>Cinnamon Ornament Recipe</strong><br />
<br />
1 cup of cinnamon<br />
2 tablespoons of ground cloves<br />
2 tablespoons of ground nutmeg<br />
1 cup of applesauce (I like to use cinnamon applesauce)<br />
2 tablespoons of white glue<br />
<div class="easy-ads">
<div class="easy-ads easy-ads-adsense-middle">
<!-- Easy Ads: Suppressed AdSense by show_middle option --> </div>
</div>
Mix ingredients until they come together to form a dough. I like to roll the dough out in-between 2 sheets of wax paper to make cleanup easier and quicker. This will make about 2 dozen ornaments depending on the size of the cookie cutters you use. I use a small straw from a kids drink (like juice boxes or Capri Sun) to make the hole to hang the ornaments. You can air dry your ornaments few days, turning at least a couple of times a day. If you prefer, you can bake in a 200 degree oven for about 2 hours. I found the air drying keeps the cinnamon ornaments a lighter color as opposed to baking them. <br />
Once the ornaments are dried they just need ribbon or twine to hang on your tree. It's also fun to decorate them. This year I decided to glitter mine up. After using Mod Podge to add glitter to your ornaments, you will want them to air dry for another day. That way the glue smell will dissipate and the cinnamon fragrance will come through again. Be sure to clear the holes of any glue and glitter before allowing to dry, otherwise it will become difficult to string with ribbon later.</div>

I ordered a new die from <a href="https://die-versions.com/">Die-Versions</a> called <a href="https://die-versions.com/Solo-Sentiments--You-Rock_p_113.html">You Rock</a>! I just love it! I can't even begin to guess how many times a day I say fabulous, cool, and You Rock! I was thinking about making a card, but when I started going through all my patterned papers I found this one. I knew it was perfect to make a scrapbook page. It was nice being able to sit down and look through old photos to use for this page. Lot's of great memories! I feel so blessed to have such a good man as my husband and father to our son Parker. Chad is such a good daddy!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Time certainly has flown by since Parker was a baby. It's still hard to believe he's seven. He is so tall! I'm only one foot taller than him! I'm sure Parker will end up being six foot tall. In the picture in the upper right corner, you might notice the 4 picture frames. I inked up Parker's hands and feet when he was a couple of weeks old. Those will be treasured forever!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBHVh5s_ZH8rx8PDqY-uoDKzaNuJ-b6HDSiptst3a2bb6am_X3OxXQU8_MulQU0kkE6hu1f1V983x4BIhSxsqFSlHASEAqaBl6XUtXQp33WsL_WAPkUndkFzjSLVUKX1jox1GIzXECdvk/s1600/glitterwrap.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="467" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBHVh5s_ZH8rx8PDqY-uoDKzaNuJ-b6HDSiptst3a2bb6am_X3OxXQU8_MulQU0kkE6hu1f1V983x4BIhSxsqFSlHASEAqaBl6XUtXQp33WsL_WAPkUndkFzjSLVUKX1jox1GIzXECdvk/s640/glitterwrap.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This year I found rolls of glitter wrapping paper at Walmart. It comes in silver, gold, green, and red. After wrapping a few presents, I decided to see if I could die cut the scrap paper. It worked! Yay! The best part is that it's only $4 a roll. A 12x12 sheet of glitter cardstock is about $1 for one sheet.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now I know, I can use all this beautiful wrapping paper for all sorts of other crafts.</div>

The first thing I tested to see how well the wrapping paper would work with my dies was this <a href="http://www.die-versions.com/Whispers--Christmas-Word-Tree_p_513.html">Christmas Word Tree</a>. This die came from <a href="https://die-versions.com/">Die-Versions</a>. I immediately knew I had to make a Christmas card. To make my card I used <a href="https://www.papertreyink.com/paper/paper-basics-white-shimmer-cardstock-12-sheets/">Whiter Shimmer</a> cardstock from <a href="https://www.papertreyink.com/">Papertrey Ink</a> and patterned paper from the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132183">Winter Frost </a> designer series by <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/home/">Stampin' Up!</a> </div>

I found this fabulous green sequin ribbon at Walmart in the Christmas section. It was only $1 for a few yards. I glued in in place with <a href="http://armyscraper.ctmh.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=1030&CatalogID=176">Liquid Glass.</a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm pretty excited about Christmas coming early this year for me! I didn't think I'd be able to talk Chad into tackling this project for a few more years. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After Thanksgiving we ripped the carpet off the stairs. I can hardly wait to have hardwood steps!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Even though we've had the carpet and stairs cleaned it was really disgusting seeing all the evidence in the carpet and padding of dog pee. I can only imagine how the previous home owner felt seeing what his renters did to this place.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We are installing white risers and gunstock treads to match the hardwood floor. We pulled out the white spindles and soon they will be replaced with black iron. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Soon I'll post pictures of the finished project. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Plus we plan on adding molding along the walls. It will be so fantastic!</div>

It's called Deer Trio made by Memory Box. <div style="text-align: center;">
Today I made a fun little square card with a matching box. I found this fabulous metallic teal ribbon that was the inspiration for the color scheme. I bought paper and stamp a long time ago from Stampin' Up! I used one of the dies that came with my Genius magnetic platform to cut the shape on the card. The box is the perfect size to fill with treats or even a cupcake.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Now that it's officially Autumn I wanted to make a card that reflects some of the beautiful colors of the season. I found this lovely checkerboard satin ribbon that gave me the inspiration I needed. I used the wood grain embossing folder on Close To Cocoa cardstock from Stampin' Up! I stamped Give Thanks on the Old Olive card base (also from SU!). Tied the ribbon around the card and added the bow. I tucked a leaf and some berries behind the bow as the finishing touch.<br />
<br />
I'm sharing my card with <a href="http://reasonableribbon.blogspot.com/2013/10/rrr-challenge-81-fall-or-halloween-and.html">Really Reasonable Ribbon,</a> <a href="http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/">Allsorts,</a> <a href="http://eclecticellapu.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/time-for-another-challenge.html">Eclectic Ellapu,</a> and <a href="http://rogueredheaddesigns.blogspot.com/p/our-current-challenge.html">Rogue Redhead Designs.</a> </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia;"><span style="color: black;"> <span style="font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">I remember the first time I stumbled upon a project using a stamp from </span></span><a href="http://www.stampotique.com/"><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">Stampotique</span></a><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">, I was totally blown away! I thought it was so wicked cool! I spent hours looking at all the stamps trying to make a reasonable wish list of stamps to buy. I found it was not possible, I simply want to own hundreds of them! Just to name a few, some of my favorite artists are </span><a href="http://www.stampotique.com/stamp/penney-torrente.html"><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">Daniel Torrente and Jill Penney</span></a><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">, </span><a href="http://www.stampotique.com/stamp/carols-collection.html"><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">Carol's Collection</span></a><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">, and </span><a href="http://www.stampotique.com/stamp/amy-wilson-wellenstein.html"><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">Amy Wilson Wellenstein</span></a><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">.</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;"></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;"> So today I made a card for the Stampotique Design Team Call.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">With hopes of winning more stamps, I've had a lot of fun by randomly playing along in </span><a href="http://stampotiquedesignerschallenge.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">The Designers Challenge</span></a><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">. I'd be honored to be part of their team. And do I ever want to earn that discount!!! </span><span style="font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">My style is constantly evolving, but completely different from all the other designers. I'm in awe of some of the coloring techniques the other designers use to make backgrounds for their cards and journals. I think we would have a lot to learn from one another. I would bring a totally fresh perspective on ways to use products from Stampotique. I really enjoy having deadlines. It keeps me focused on the goal at hand. One of the best things about crafting is being able to give a handmade gift. I really love making cards. I also enjoy giving support and encouragement to fellow crafters and friends through blog hops, Facebook, and online challenges.</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"></span></span> </div>
<div align="center">
<span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;"> Now onto a little about my card. The background of my card was made by using a flocked damask pattern paper. I stamped </span><a href="http://www.stampotique.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=STAMP&Product_Code=8990&Category_Code="><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">Fabulous</span></a><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;"> in black ink then added </span><a href="http://www.stampotique.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=STAMP&Product_Code=med-fin-glossy-accents-clear&Category_Code="><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;">Glossy Accent</span></a><span style="color: black; font-family: Times, "Times New Roman", serif;"> for a little shine. A black bow and a few rhinestones finished off my card. </span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am feeling pretty lucky today!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just received a gift from<a href="http://www.pattystamps.typepad.com/pattys_stamping_spot/"> Patty Bennett</a> that contained the entire <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133285">Festive Flurry Bundle</a> from <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/default.aspx">Stampin' Up!</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's the <a href="http://www.pattystamps.typepad.com/pattys_stamping_spot/2013/09/stampin-up-founders-circle-trip-2013-kanab-park-and-tuachan.html">link</a> to where it was announced on her blog.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjRtune3RcWJq5ADcaoTHLh7hhGnmdRvh1ksNU7BMU5amzQStgYB6AN6Cw40eR9o4x4HOM1woTSkPk344EtT7krlDCCVDieYP-KbLpKs5YebeKrJvcaFtdImTIHeDLil2c42HGq23tkz0/s1600/IMG_0748.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjRtune3RcWJq5ADcaoTHLh7hhGnmdRvh1ksNU7BMU5amzQStgYB6AN6Cw40eR9o4x4HOM1woTSkPk344EtT7krlDCCVDieYP-KbLpKs5YebeKrJvcaFtdImTIHeDLil2c42HGq23tkz0/s640/IMG_0748.jpg" width="498" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have so many ideas swirling around in my head about all the possibilities of things I can do with the dies and stamps in this set.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMZB_qUhadW7Afeg_gc6ub0snBx8AnJ92-uLiJmvItOobSpdgLu45ibQzGouMHRV30Vo0cxjnWy7lNpD297ggwBnpzY0TnJqL_YB1_qalRCetVAzaIsZBar3TwfO81NMoR9eLnXLVSQ8M/s1600/IMG_0749.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMZB_qUhadW7Afeg_gc6ub0snBx8AnJ92-uLiJmvItOobSpdgLu45ibQzGouMHRV30Vo0cxjnWy7lNpD297ggwBnpzY0TnJqL_YB1_qalRCetVAzaIsZBar3TwfO81NMoR9eLnXLVSQ8M/s640/IMG_0749.jpg" width="554" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I decided to use the largest snowflake die cut a piece of shimmer cardstock. Next I pulled out a snowman ( I think the very first stamp I bought from Stampin' Up!) and stamped him on the shimmer cardstock. I colored him, then fussy cut him to layer onto Bashful Blue cardstock (sad face :( also retired). Then I stamped Snowballs 4 Sale (also retired SU!). Finally is used a bunch of <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=104430">Stampin' Dimensionals</a> to pop up the snowflake layer.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thank you so much<a href="http://www.pattystamps.typepad.com/pattys_stamping_spot/"> Patty Bennett</a>!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I truly appreciate the gift and will think of you every time I use one of the stamps or dies! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope you like the first thing I made with the gift :)</div>

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2KNvGYnY72YpKqbdXBr3a5v5vMLtFIAl2eRWRjMHfH14lgDP3NxTi_sQ6OLGN8FfvjqvLQvqP4lEidDg7pIFzeRFydBytPN1XQ9j2j6DhtGSMuoBlzAIwHmFKV6T1dlxUsMVhH9df5Hs/s1600/IMG_0746.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="468" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2KNvGYnY72YpKqbdXBr3a5v5vMLtFIAl2eRWRjMHfH14lgDP3NxTi_sQ6OLGN8FfvjqvLQvqP4lEidDg7pIFzeRFydBytPN1XQ9j2j6DhtGSMuoBlzAIwHmFKV6T1dlxUsMVhH9df5Hs/s640/IMG_0746.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now that's officially Autumn, I'm ready to start thinking about decorating for Halloween.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I want several big fat pumpkins to make a couple of topiary arrangements for my front porch.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyhow, I decided to make a Halloween card today. I don't know about you, but I love to dress up with Parker for Halloween. So much fun! The design idea came from a sketch on the <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2013/09/mojo-monday-312.html">Mojo Monday</a> blog. For<a href="http://www.stampotique.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=STAMP&Product_Code=6100&Category_Code="> Linda's</a> shirt I used the <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=132156">Witches' Brew</a> washi tape from Stampin Up! I also used it to create the banners. The <a href="http://www.reasonableribbon.com/item.php?item_id=6581&page=g&category_id=521">Black Webbing</a> ribbon came from <a href="http://www.reasonableribbon.com/index.php">Really Reasonable Ribbon</a>. The Trick or Treat stamp is part of a new set called <a href="http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=133294">Tags 4 You</a> from Stampin' Up!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you noticed the background, it's a doll house. I've been working on making a haunted house for Halloween. If I ever decide to make another, I definitely will be buying one already put together. It has not rocked building it piece by piece. As soon as I find the perfect wallpaper, I will post pictures of the completed house. I have not bought any furniture, but I did find that fun tiny candelabra.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm sharing my card with <a href="http://stampotiquedesignerschallenge.blogspot.com/2013/09/sdc118-washi-tape.html">Stampotique Designers Challenge,</a> <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2013/09/mojo-monday-312.html">Mojo Monday,</a> <a href="http://loriboyd2.blogspot.com/2013/09/by-lori-designs-challenge-bld56.html">By Lori Designs,</a> <a href="http://crafterscafeblogchallenge.blogspot.com/2013/09/challenge-30-die-cutspunches.html">The Crafters Café,</a> <a href="http://www.cardadayblog.blogspot.com/">Card a Day Blog,</a> <a href="http://sweetstampsblog.blogspot.com/2013/09/monthly-technique-challenge-paper.html">Sweet Stamps,</a> <a href="http://www.drsdesignsblog.blogspot.com/">DRS Designs,</a> and <a href="http://haunteddesignhouse.blogspot.com/2013/09/hdh-176-who-are-you-supposed-to-be.html">Macabre Monday Challenges.</a></div>
