Save The Date

I am so tickled to see the Save The Date I made posted on the blog and Facebook for TapeSwell today! Here is the link for the blog post.... http://blog.tapeswell.com/2011/06/damask-save-date-card.html
I have so much to learn about photography. Eileen has an incredible eye and sense for style. I can hardly wait to see how she photographs all the other wedding ensembles I made.
A huge Thank You must also go out to Eleanor from E. M. Papers to allow me to use her beautiful wedding templates. She designs  printable DIY cards and paper goods that you can download and print on your home printer. E. M. Papers provides all kinds of printables like printable graduation cards, printable Father’s Day cards,  printable wedding invitations and more. Here is the link for her website... http://www.empapers.com/

I started with a piece of white cardstock and layered it with Black Damask decorative tape. Then added a layer of green cardstock and punched the corners. Next I customized the Save The Date template, printed it, trimmed it to size, punched the corners and adhered to the card. Easy Peasy!
Notice the town of Jackson, California. I grew up there. It's referred to as the Heart Of The Motherload or as Gold Country. I certainly miss the fresh mountain air, big tall trees and clear water of the rivers!

If you look back on my blog to May 3rd you will find the coordinating Black Damask Place Cards.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I love damask, especially black and white damask. I can totally picture a pretty damask design on the wedding cake to match these invites, hehe.

  4. TapeSwell is so versatile! The black and white damask is so classic and the hint of green adds a trendy splash of color. Thanks for sharing your link on the DIY Weddings blog at Craft Gossip!
